After impressing in Swedish karting, Gustav took the title of National Vice-champion in 2022. After moving into single seaters in 2023, Gustav clinched the Rookie Championship in British F4 with 11 rookie wins. Gustav joins Van Amersfoort Racing in 2024, looking to continue his upward tragectory and take on Europe as the next step in his career.
Like many young racing drivers, Gustav began his passion of motorsport at local kart tracks in Sweden aged 11. Whilst many drivers are introduced to motorsport through a passion from a family member, Gustav's interest in motorsport was entirely of his own making, although Gustav managed to talk his father into helping him mechanic his go kart.
After several years of competing in Swedish national karting events, of which Gustav was a regular threat for the win and was crowned National Vice-champion in 2022. In 2023, Gustav made his way into single seaters, competing in British F4 and becoming rookie champion, taking 11 rookie wins as part of very impressive debut season. For 2024, Gustav moves to Van Amersfoort Racing, ready to take on Formula 4 in Europe.
