Since beginning his motor racing career in Karting back in 2004, Jack quickly established himself as a driver with immense natural ability and dedication, combined with a mindset determined on winning races and championships.
In 2010, Jack Hawksworth graduated into single-seater racing as the number 1 British driver in KZ1 world karting and obtained instant success; claiming pole position in his first ever single-seater race – a feat never achieved before in the history of the Formula Renault (“FR”) UK Winter Series.
In 2012, Jack decided to take his race career across the Atlantic to compete in the Star Mazda Championship. In a fantastic season where Jack shattered all previous records for race wins, podiums and pole positions, Jack was crowed champion and stepped up to Indy Lights where he won multiple races and caught the eye of Bryan Herta Autosport, who signed Jack to be their driver for the 2014 IndyCar Series. In Jack’s rookie season in IndyCar, he lead multiple races, qualified on the front row of the grid and scored a podium which lead to a drive with A.J Foyt Racing which continues to be the focus of Jack’s racing career.
In Jack’s rookie season in the Verizon IndyCar series, Jack scored Bryan Herta Autosport’s first ever podium position on a street course after a titanic battle with Juan Pablo Montoya.
